Rigid Fluidity

November 2019 - January 2020

Brief: In Opposition - To combine two textile mediums to portray ideas of opposition.

Concept: Exploring both knit and weave and how they can work together, I considered the idea of Rigid Fluidity. Creating surfaces and structures that appear fluid but hold a rigid form, through the use of wire and paint.

Techniques used: Clasped weft, Knitting cord, Colour and weave.
